Hinduism is the religion of the Indian and Nepalese people; being called the oldest religion in the world. Hindu practices include daily rituals such as puja (worship), recitations, annual festival, and occasional pilgrimages. Hinduism is the third largest religion and it is said to have started in India. eighty percent of the Indian population are Hinduism with celebrations that include festivals. Hinduism has no original founder, but one thing we pursuit is of having many gods. Our traditions consist of freedom of belief and practice. Our Hindu texts are classified into sruti (revealed) and smriti (remembered); these texts discuss theology, philosophy, mythology, Vedic yajna, agamic rituals and temple building. in fact Hinduism has about one billion followers and is a popular faith after Christianity and Islam.
