- This year was a year that everyone could step out and try to be themselves. A year full of diversity, people chose to come out the worlds perception of what fashion is suppose to look like. We decide to wear our own styles and representations of who they were. Teens across the United States use new fashion items, such as; joggers, floral shirts, flowered headbands, cardigans and other over coats of the of the same style. Sneakers, boots, Nike, Adidas, Jordan’s, and other name brand clothing. Anything has been considered fashionable in the eyes of yourself.
- A lot of slang language has corrupted the people of this generation’s vocabulary. It can be confusing a misunderstood to adults words such as; “OD, yo, B, legit, slay or slayed, chill, sike, YEET, nah, keep it a bean, say word? But that’s none of my business, but you’re ugly! And many more that flows out of this generation’s vocabulary like water running through a through a river. However, if your mature, you will know better than to use them in an interview.
What were two exciting events that happened to you this year?
- My life isn't as exciting as some may think but that doesn't mean I don't have my share of so called exciting moments. One exciting event that happened to me this year was moving into a bran new house in less than a month. With my very own room. A second was my very first swim meet at a college. The water was a little deep if you ask me. .
- This upcoming New Year, I wish to change a few things about myself. One important thing I would like to change is my attitude. I tend to get irritated easily towards a lot of big and small things. Id like to try and fix that so I don't get in that mood so much. I would also like to change how shy I am around new people. I want to work on being more open!
- No too long ago I saw a video on the news showing footage of present day KU KLUX KLAN members. Showing people for the first time in a long time, what they do, what they believe in, and what they stand for. They were highly uneducated, their opinions and beliefs were just simply that. They wee not backed up by anything other than "that's just the way it should be" After all this time, their still people out there unknowing of right & wrong. Or what the bible REALLY says.
- This year had taught me a lot, I've matured way past the 16 year old maturity level. I've realized what is really important. I've learned to love who I am. I've found love of the deepest kind. I've came a long way form the places I used to be. My word for this year, I feel, should be "different" (in a good way)
