What about Discrimination?

Discrimination is when someone excludes another person because of their differences and treats them differently. Discrimination is hurtful and makes people want to be like everybody else. Some good examples of this are slavery (civil rights) , the Holocaust with the Jews, and the most recent, gay rights. All of these groups of people were left out, sectioned up, picked on, and treated unequally as if they were lesser than and considered not worthy to live in the same society.  Each one of these problems were overcome by people who were against it and thought every one deserved the same rights.

People should treat others the way that they want to be treated and not let someones opinions or beliefs or religion affect the way you see or treat someone. All these things shape the name America and make us who we should be. Hopefully after all these problems that have occurred in the past, our society will be better and a free place for everyone
