Nepalese People's Festival of Dashain
Dashain is the festival of Nepalese people. It is the longest and the most auspicious festival in the Nepalese annual calendar, celebrated by Nepalese people throughout the globe. It is not only the longest festival of the country, but also the one which most anticipated. The festival falls in September or October, starting from the bright lunar fortnight of the month September or October.
This festival is also known for its emphasis on the family gatherings, as well as on a renewal of community ties. Most of Nepalese people who live out of Nepal come Nepal for celebrate. This festival is five days long. Dashain is main festival for Nepalese people.
Nepalese people celebrate this festival like to eat tika. Tika means something that made by rice, yogurt, and red powder and getting bless from older people. At that festival time,Nepalese people from all over the world will celebrate. Nepalese people will really enjoy this festival. They will excited when it is coming near. This festival makes Nepalese people feel blessed, and when this festival arrives, every Nepalese person will get vacation from offices, school etc.
