As a female we wake up in the morning, and we see all our flaws. We see everything that others may not notice. We see our scars and blemishes, or messy hair, tired eyes, overall we see our imperfection. So many young women have let social media, television, magazines commercials... (etc.) affect how they perceive themselves as a person.
Too many beautiful ladies discourage themselves because they fear that in the eyes of the world they are not good enough. That they are not as important as someone else if they don't have what the have or better. In this generation, people are more worried about instagram likes, who can dress, or who has this and that, rather then focusing on a future where we can the afford the luxurious things.
We get so caught up in temporary things and we begin to call it a lifestyle. So now, women's level of self respect and self worth fall ever so closely to the ground. We start to criticize ourselves even more, and we start stressing constantly about how we appear to an average eye. We do this to please a social media that convinces you, that wearing excessive amounts of makeup and expensive clothing is the only way to catch someone's eye, or is the only way to be relevant in a world full of ignorance. Our temporary flings that we call a lifestyle is causing us to change who we are on a daily basis.
First, we wake up not liking the way we look. So we change that, and something new tells us were still not good enough. So we then believe that we need to change something else. It's crazy, because sometimes its women, telling women, that as a woman... you are still not good enough for this world. As a female I do have my flaws, but I also accept them because its how God created me.
It doesn't matter what I look like or what someone else may look like. Just because the world says we have to be perfect doesn't mean we have to believe it. Whether you or half the population believes this, God created us equally, and through his eyes, we all look the same.
