Eastern Guilford Exceeds Expected Growth!

At the October 3rd faculty meeting, Ms. Foley revealed the banner that EGHS teachers and students earned for exceeding expected growth during the 2013-2014 school year. This distinction is earned through end of year test scores and meeting various learning targets.

The way that Guilford County Schools defines exceeding expected growth is that students have mastered more than one year's worth of material in a single school year. Ms. Foley and the administration are extremely proud of the teachers, staff, and students that made this happen. This is clearly the evidence of when everyone pulls together in the same direction to achieve great things, and we have shown the world that "We've Got Grit!"
