Lost at Sea: The Messengers Letter

   Images wash across the waters
Of a bottled message that never made it's way to shore
The messenger is long gone
Gone away to win a war that has already fallen
He left a fire that was sparked long ago
Yet it seems he's forgotten
Who will tend to it?
Will it be blown away by the breath of the Omnipotent?
It's warmth...still so tangible to the touch
But only a mirage of what was and never will be again
Will the message be the same?
Will it just float away in the sea of the lost?
Or will it wash to shore to unbind the message it stowed away?
If so will it only feed the anguish of the forgotten
Or will it bring unending joy to the beloved
Bring cease to the war Messenger
Deliver the message you never conveyed
So that a sealed correspondence of an unopened door may be unveiled unto you
