The Honey Badger
Tyrann Mathieu
James-Anthony Artis
Tyrann Mathieu
is formally known as “the Honey Badger” for his fearless football mind set as a 5’9 165 pound FS/CB. Mathieu has marvelous ball hawking skills and a play-making mentality. As a sophomore, Mathieu was
already a high ranked candidate for the Heisman. Even though it took a lot of perseverance to get there, Mathieu failed several of drug tests and was suspended twice, so he
had to miss his junior and senior season playing for LSU. However, this did not stop him
though, because he had strong role models to help him. With aid from NFL all-star corner back Patrick Peterson and his father,
Mathieu got back on track to greatness and worked hard everyday for it. Then in
the 2013, NFL draft Mathieu was selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the 3rd
round, 7th pick, and 69th over all. Now Mathieu starts as
the free safety for the Cardinals.
