Tony Ramos was born in San Francisco, California. He started wrestling when he was four years old and won his first AAU championship at the age of five.
It was clear that from a young age that Tony Ramos was destined to be a great wrestler. He went both his high school and middle school careers with no losses or points that he didn't allow scored on him. By the age of 17, he was already committed to wrestling for Ohio State. They paid for his college education all four years he attended. Since then, he has stopped wrestling and is now the athletic trainer for Ohio State. He still supports the wrestling team with donations and attends home matches.
Was he able to participate in the Olympic games or other amateur wrestling events?
