DJ De'Aundré Top 5

  1. Good Enough” by Jussie Smollet
This song is from the show “Empire”, everyone knows about the middle child Jamal Lyon who is also a homosexual. In the song he is begging his father to see that he is equally as talented as his brother Hakeem Lyon, but his father is so homophobic that he can’t see how amazingly talented he is. This song shows the struggle for a son to gain the acceptance of his father. Many kids have the issue where the father has his son’s future planned for him, but his son has a totally different plan for his life. Ultimately the son will do what makes him happy and maybe do something that makes his dad happy, but the dad will have to learn to respect his son’s choices.
  2. “ Quiero Bailar” by 3BallMTY ft Becky G
Don’t let the name fool you, this song isn’t in Spanish. There are some Spanish sentences, but it mainly talks about dancing the night away with friends. It’s the type of song you can’t stop dancing to. It is also the type of song that you can’t take off of repeat; just something about the rhythm of how she sings and raps her words is so addicting and brings you to the point where you have to sing along with her.
  3. “Tell The DJ” by Cymphonique Miller
Cymphonique Miller is the daughter of rapper Master P and the sister of Lil Romeo. In this song she is mainly saying that the DJ needs to play her song so that she can turn up in the club. This song should mainly be played at parties or when you’re out clubbing with your friends.
  4. “Somebody” by Natalie La Rose feat. Jeremih
This song is somewhat similar to Whitney Houston’s “I wanna dance with somebody” and it is by Dutch artist Natalie La Rose who is going to be the next big thing if you hear this song. Especially with Jeremih by her side she will be on top of the charts sooner than she can say “Grammy”.
  5. “All Things Go” by Nicki Minaj
In her latest album “The Pinkprint” she opens up more than her previous albums. In this song she tells her story on a deeper level like when she talks about her abortion or her engagement with her ex-boyfriend. In this song it shows all Onika Tanya Maraj has been through; and she has always managed to come back stronger than ever before.
